Youtube was made for moments like these.
If you need a good laugh, another reason to hate Shia Labeouf, an excuse to listen to country music, or just more Lance Bass in your life, these are the videos for you. Show your friends, show your coworkers, show your parents. When your party gets dull, put one of these on and your crowd is sure to be delighted.
1. Facebook Official, Heart2Heart
Leave it to Lance Bass to start a KPop group with a “Swag General”. Here is the Best/Worst song known to man. There is a dance break with no dancing – this music video is a force to be reckoned with. Sit back and think about the time and money spent on the music video and please join me in saying “GOD BLESS AMERICA”.
Favorite Lyric: “Girl I don’t wanna play Farmville, I wanna play for real”
2. Actual Cannibal Shia Labeouf, Rob Cantor
Based on a true story (but in the really loose Hollywood way, like Pochahontas), this chronicles the tale of being chased in the woods by actual cannibal Shia Labeouf. Tumblr is weird.
Favorite Lyric: “Fighting for your life with Shia Labeouf/ Wrestling a knife from Shia Labeouf”
3. Refill, Elle Varner
I have never quite figured out what is happening in this music video. What is the meaning of this school trip? How did she sneak off for that long unnoticed? Why are her friends letting her run off with strangers in the big bad city? Exactly how many syllables are in the word refill?
Favorite Lyric: “Feel like a conversational lush.”
4. Fix A Heart, Demi Lovato
While there is no official music video for this song, the lyrics really speak for themselves. Let’s play a game of find the lyric that landed this song on our list. Come on Demi, you’re better than that. May your mermaid brethren guide you on.
Favorite Lyric: Come on, we weren’t going to give it up that easily. Game of lyrical hide and seek is still on.
5. Drunk on a Plane, Dierks Bentley
This truly beautiful song encompasses the age-old saying, “It’s about the journey, not the destination”. Don’t let the title speak for itself. This song made it to the top 20 on iTunes for a reason, and the video is even better. Thank you country music for bringing this into my life and into my heart. Must rack up miles on Riser Air.
Favorite Lyric: “Got this 737 rocking like a G6”
A Million Ways, OK Go
While the song is fine, this music video has horrendous choreography. Learn it, live it, love it. And if you perform this at your local talent show, please send me the video.
