Summertime is not always fun for myself and four-eyed friends. Outdoor activities like running, kayaking and swimming don’t usually go well when you have to wear glasses.
Luckily, affordable eyewear manufacturer Warby Parker unveiled their summer eyewear collection today and these frames are so cute, you won’t even feel annoyed when your glasses fog up the moment the heat index hits 80 degrees.
Round shaped frames, a la Diane Keaton in “Annie Hall,” and surf shack inspired colors are at the cornerstone of the collection, with frames starting at $95.
Personally, my favorite pair are the Lyle frame in Hanalei Tortoise because they look like the type of glasses I would be wearing when I met the Harry to my Sally in a hipster bookstore in Brooklyn.
But don’t take my word for it, check out our favorite frames from the collection below:
The full collection is available online at WarbyParker.com and at Warby Parker stores located around the country.
If you are afraid of commitment like me and want to try a few frames on at home, they will ship you five frames for free as part of their Home Try-On program. Then, they’ll pay to ship the frames back when you are done.
Wouldn’t it be awesome they had a similar program for potential boyfriends too?
